Full display interactivity is possible as all display capabilities are supported including dynamic update, animation, button objects, real time trends and historic trends. Unlike some software packages there is no need to spend time creating special system displays for web viewing as any display built using Prodigy Display Builder is “internet ready”. Plus Prodigy Web Viewer can be applied to any Prodigy package from Chart Recorder through to Prodigy Complete.
Administrator controls allow user access to be unrestricted or password protected. For high security applications access may be further restricted by specifying the MAC address of those PCs which are allowed to access Prodigy Over the Web. Simply tick the POW server option in the Prodigy control panel and your system will become a web server, providing realtime displays to remote users. For security purposes, Prodigy maintains a log of each user access and provides administrator control over user names, passwords, access levels and user lockout.
