Donaldson Filter Components, part of the Donaldson Company Inc., was founded in 1915 and now has over 11,000 employees at more than 50 sites worldwide and revenue of over $1.8 billion (year to July 2009)

The Plant Monitoring System currently monitors two of the six production lines, providing real time shop floor data and key performance metrics such as OEE. Due to the flexibility of Prodigy, future expansion to cover the other production lines can be carried out without disturbing the existing line monitoring or having to replace any of the existing software or hardware.

Donaldson Filter Components made use of the comprehensive training courses available. Having staff trained in using and configuring the system ensures that it is used efficiently, provides a fast return on investment and can be administered and supported by their own staff, thereby reducing running costs.
